　 　 Methyleugenyl Dimethicone Copolyol 　 　 It is a proprietary copolymer designed for use in hair care products and in antiperspirant formulations.  High refractive index ingredients have been known to improve the gloss of hair and to diminish the whitening on skin when antiperspirant salts precipitate after drying.  The combination of these two structural elements results in a silicone polymer that is dispersible in water, alcohol or water/alcohol based formulations, and has a higher refractive index value than other existing commercial materials.

It is ideal for use in cosmetic application such as lipstick, foundation and mascara to make them long wearing. In formulations containing water or propylene glycol, it also enhances pigment dispersibility.
